Thank you for writing this! I somewhat agree with you but I also think this is shifting. I’ve had a pretty positive experience with gay male dating apps, especially on scruff and Grindr where I can indicate ahead of time I’m trans and filter through. I live in San Francisco Bay Area and while I’m sure plenty of men have not responded to my messages because of the reasons you mention, I’ve met some wonderful partners via the gay apps. I think the younger generation of gays are pretty woke (maybe the under 40 crowd id say) and that there might be more of this with older cis gay men. Just my observations, don’t want trans men to be discouraged, there are some diamonds in the rough of the gay male world. Thanks for writing!
